Fun Public Swimming Pools Near Atlanta
1.Piedmont Park Aquatic Center- Midtown
This staple in Piedmont Park has been a favorite since the original bathhouse was built in 1911. Families enjoy a large pool with beach entry openMemorial Day through Labor Day.Visitorspay $5 per person for access to the swimming pool or show up3-5pmweekdays in the summer for free swim. The pool is open weekdays10am-5pm and weekends 12-5pm, until August 1, then weekday hours are 3pm-5pm.
2.Wills Park Pool - Alpharetta
Wills Park Pool featurestwo diving boards (including a high dive), water slide, shallow play area withinteractive features, anda splash pad. Alpharetta residents pay $5 andnon-residents pay $8.The pool is open from Memorial Day until Fulton County schools begin classes (August 5for 2024); after that date, the pool isopen weekends only throughLabor Day. Hours vary.
3.Cherokee County Aquatic Center - Canton
Families have a blast at this public aquatic center, which ismore like a mini waterpark, called the Oasis Outdoor Pool. Visitors can ridetwo water slides, swim in the lazy river, and play onthewater playground. Rates range from $6-$9 depending on residency and age. Hours vary each day and the facilitycloses for special events so check thewebsite before heading out.
4.Seven Springs Water Park - Powder Springs
The Seven Springs Water Park boasts a public outdoor swimming pool with zero-depth entry and a water park with slides, a lazy river, andsplash pad.The facility is openfrom Memorial Day through July 28, and then switches to weekends only until Labor Day. Cobb County residents pay $4 per child/$6 per adult. Visitors choose from two sessions: 12-3pm or 4-7pm.
5.Tolleson Park Pool - Smyrna
The Tolleson Park Poolhas two diving boards anda sprayground. Prices are $7 per adult and $5 per kid. The pool is open weekdays, 1-6pm, and weekends,11am-6pm.Once school starts in Cobb County (August 1for 2024), the swimming pool stay openson weekends only.
6.Roswell Area Park Pool - Roswell
This Olympic-sized swimming pool, located in Roswell's premier park, has two diving boards, a children's wading area, and a mushroom waterfall. Roswell residents pay $3 for admission while non-residentspay $5. Swimming pool hours vary each dayand is closed on Thursdays.
7.Grant Park Pool - Atlanta
The Grant Park swimming pool is large, near Zoo Atlanta,and best of all, FREE!Families cool off in this Atlanta public pool12:30-8pm, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). The pool shiftsto evening and weekend hours when school starts in August.
8.Chastain Park Athletic Club Pool - Buckhead
You don't have to be a member of the Chastain Park Athletic Club to use its pool. Guests pay $5 per person to cool off intheoutdoor swimming pool or the indoor section. The facility even offers free swim time11am-1pm. Check the website for hours as they change daily, and certain times are just for members. For 2024, the pool is openMay 13 - September 8.

9.Cumming Aquatic Center - Cumming
Kids of all ages splash and play at the Cumming Aquatic Center's outdoor leisure pool. The venue has awater slide, lazy river, andwater playground. Visitors pay $7 per child and $8per adult. The outdoor leisure pool opens in early May and closes after Labor Day. Check the website for hours as the schedule variesduring school times.
10.Garden Hills Pool - Buckhead

11.Candler Park Pool - Little Five Points
This intown swimming pool is a great option to cooloff thissummer, especially because it offers FREEadmission.The pool, located in Candler Park,is open Friday-Tuesdayduring thesummer from 12:30-7pm.
12.Kelley Cofer Pool - Tucker
This large poolis a niceplace to beat the heat during thesummer. Bonus?It has a super fun diving board! Guests 17 and under are $3and thoseages 18 and over are $5. Kelley Cofer Poolis open from Tuesday-Saturday, 12-8pm, and Sunday,1-7pm (closed Mondays). Hours and open days shift after August 4.
13.Rosenfeld Pool - Tucker
Another one of Tucker's nice public pools, Rosenfeld is located in a shaded park and has a fun twisty slide. Like Kelly Cofer, the rates are $3 for kids 17 and under and $5 for 18 and up. Its hours are the same too, except it's closed on Wednesdays.
14.Milton City Pool - Milton
The public can enjoy thisOlympic-sized pool, complete withwading pool and mushroom waterfalls for younger kids. It is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, with hours shiftingas Fulton County starts school (August 5 for 2024).
