The Harry and Melinda drama consumed the latest three episodes of Perfect Match. Nick Lachey appeared after the matching ceremony and challenge, in which all the couples had stayed together. The other couples claimed that Kaz Bishop and Micah Lussier were the worst couple. However, it wasn't Kaz who became the center of the "boys' day" drama. While Kaz was certainly tempted by Too Hot To Handle's Christine Obanor, he and Micah had relatively little chemistry in the first place. His wandering eye characterized his time on Perfect Match.
Unlike Kaz, Harry claimed he had changed his philandering ways. He pledged his love and devotion to Jess, even claiming in a confessional he wanted to do a blood ritual with the Charlotte-based mother and influencer. The boys appeared disappointed when their day to decompress was marred by the arrival of all the unmatched women in the house, including Too Hot To Handle's Melinda. She immediately had her eye on Harry and intended to stir things up amid the men.
Melinda's lack of footwear set her diabolical plan into motion. Since Harry couldn't let Melinda, now a damsel in distress, travel to the bathroom in her bare feet on the rocks, he carried her like a baby koala to the toilet, flirting incessantly along the way. While the level of flirtation exhibited between Melinda and Harry would likely make any girlfriend uncomfortable, they didn't technically do anything wrong on camera. The trouble began when Melinda claimed that Harry kissed her when he realized the cameras weren't on, and he vehemently denied her allegations.

He Has A History Of Manipulating Women
Harry could be lying based on his long history of manipulating women and his gestures following Perfect Match season 2 events. This man claimed on camera that he had "spunked" in various women but seemed so upset that he'd carried a woman to the bathroom, which seems ridiculous given his history. Additionally, Harry took a leaf out of his Too Hot To Handle playbook by immediately denying that the event happened. When confronted by the rest of the boys regarding the kiss, he relied on the same line, saying, "Who saw it?" rather than denying the event occurred.
Harry is obviously lying because of his initial reaction to the kiss allegations. Instead of just saying he didn't kiss Melinda, he responded by saying, "Who saw it?"
He and Francesca used this tactic in Too Hot To Handle when they broke numerous rules, denying they had been the ones to lose money for the group. Unfortunately for Harry, the truth always comes out, and it does not look good for the game-playing bad boy. Harry has a track record, and his drunken behavior with Melinda aligns with his typical persona. In trying to rectify his reality TV personality, Harry blew it all with one poorly calculated kiss near the bathrooms, allegedly off-camera.

She Didn't Match With Anyone In The House
There's only one compelling argument for Melinda's kissing claims being a lie, and it's the one that Harry made - she's trying to get more screen time. When the women entered the house after the previous day's mixers, Melinda seemed a little too excited to share the news that Harry had kissed her not once but twice. Additionally, she chose to tell Jess in front of all the other women, prompting a heated argument. "The worst thing we could do is argue about mediocre men," quipped Melinda, seemingly shocked at how her revelations were received.

However, the argument that Melinda lied isn't particularly strong. Melinda is already a famous reality TV star, appearing in Too Hot To Handle season 2, launching a successful modeling career, and hosting Dated and Related. While Melinda is undoubtedly in Perfect Match to remain relevant and famous, so is everyone else. No one goes on Perfect Match with a genuine desire to find the love of their lives; even Jess is a clout chaser, which makes her defense of Harry more understandable.

Harry and Jess's relationship's exact fallout remains unknown but is likely to be revealed after the Perfect Match season 2 finale. After the show, Harry and Jess continued to see each other and were spotted together in Mexico in September 2023, with photos surfacing soon after Love Is Blind season 6. However, their relationship did not last.
Harry hinted at their breakup on his podcast Boyfriend Material, discussing a past relationship impacted by rumors of him dating his Dancing With the Stars partner, contributing to their split. Although he didn't name Jess directly, the context and timeline matched their relationship. Both have publicly teased that they are currently single, with Jess mentioning her single status during the airing of Love Is Blind season 6 and Harry's podcast comments further supporting their breakup.
Melinda might be a clout chaser, but Harry undoubtedly kissed Melinda. Whether it was captured on camera, Harry's behavior onscreen and online since initially starring in Too Hot To Handle indicates a high likelihood of kissing Melinda in a drunken moment of weakness. Hopefully, Netflix will drop footage of the kiss in the last episode, but regardless of visual evidence, the Harry and Melinda kiss almost certainly happened in Perfect Match season 2.
