I expect the new JAL seat to have a footwell similar to ANA's old 77W staggered seat, so I think it will be very spacious.
Is this what you expected? The standard footwell doesnt look comfortable to me.

Based on the tracks and rails present it looks like it should be possible to push the cabinet that the table comes out of back into the cubby after the table has been pulled out. This would then allow access to the aisle. Whether that's easy or not depends on how much effort is required to move the cabinet while holding the table in place.
Theoretically it would be possible to include a series of cogs and cams that keep the opened table in place as the cabinet is pushed in or pulled out, but that would introduce additional points of failure that could complicate an evacuation...

Are you assuming one would sit at the ottoman?

Goodies for the inaugural passengers. Looks better than why I got from the LAX-KIX inaugural and LAX 60th anniversary flights

There’s a New York cheesecake special for today and tomorrow at the F lounge

I saw the local Japanese news program coverage of inaugural of A350-1000. They had business reporter who cover transportation industry and explained about importance of A350-1000 for JAL and new First and Business class products, where First class on A350-1000 is priced slightly figher than rest of First class.
The reporter was asked who fly on First class. The reporter responded that on A350-1000 inaugural flight it was influencers and YouTubers. 😅

JL005/006 daily service is now moved forward to the 26th of Jan instead of the original Feb 2nd schedule as per aviationwire
Also, video of the send-off below.

So I imagine Sam Chui is flying first class as we in America are waking up this morning.

The wiki is wrong I'm assuming? A daily service pattern in place for almost 3 years, reduced to every other day from today onwards?

You assume wrongly.
It is about when the route is operated with the A350-1000, not when it is operated as a whole. The other days are operated with a 77W. Though rumours would have that the switch to daily A350 will be brought forward.
