After numerous attempts to unclog the double sink in my kitchen for several days, we called Motor City and they came out the same day! Ben and Josh were polite and efficient and worked about 1/2 hour to unclog the drain. Thanks Ben and Josh!

I called for an appointment yesterday, they came today and as I sit here right now everything I needed fixed is FIXED. Tim replaced a toilet that had decided it wasn't going to flush anymore. He listened to my concerns and asked what I wanted in a new toilet, then made a recommendation for a new one. I also needed a trap replaced under my bathtub - that actually ended up costing less than the original quote. I really appreciated the honesty, and the savings. My bathtub drains and my new toilet is a BEAST. I could not be happier with the work Tim (and his helper Noah) did today.
I'd also add that not only did they do the work efficiently and to my wishes, but they were extremely pleasant to have in my home. They were kind to my cats and careful not to let the little monsters escape as they went about the job. I highly recommend hiring Motor City Plumbing and Drain for whatever you need done.

Second time customer here. Two guys replaced a water heater last year for me. Today Estaban came by to fix some broken piping and replaced a sink. Everyone I've dealt with is nice and professional and does great work. They have someone always at the phones and lets you know half an hour out when someone will arrive which is a great perk as well. Definitely recommended!

Motor City Plumbing is fantastic! Tim and Noah did a thorough job of repairing my leaking waste stack. Specializing in old home repair, Tim went right to the source of the problem. The old stack, hidden in the wall, had cracked and he and Noah made sure the repairs were complete and not patched over. This will last the next 100 years! The clean out was replaced and made accessible. It had also cracked from age. Quite a messy job, but done with excellence. I also had a vanity installed. This old house needed special care to get it in place. Tim and Noah took the time and care to get the job done right! I highly recommend this company! Our kitchen sink was backing up every time we ran our washing machine. After months of trying to fix it myself I finally called Motor City Plumbing. Van came out and explained everything in great detail, he definitely knew his stuff! It only took him an hour to clean our drain line and now everything is as good as new! 5 star service, would definitely call again if we had another plumbing issue.

DTE came to home due to smell of gas. One of our kids had turned the stove knob on past the “ignite” and gas was leaking into the house. When here, DTE technician did a whole house inspection and found a few, small leaks in the basem*nt using her gas detector machine. She said they were small leaks, but that they should be fixed.
We had Rob from Motor City Plumbing out to fix the leaks. He ran a lit lighter along all the gas pipe joints that DTE’s meter had detected a leak. Not one joint ignited. Obviously, if there was a leak, a flame would detect it. By checking first, Rob saved us a few bucks we would have had to spend in him fixing non leaking joints.

First thing you should know is this company is honest.
I didn't need the work I thought I did, which I know another company would have taken full advantage of. Noah was awesome. Very professional pleasant and great personality.

I called about a slow leak under my kitchen sink. They were very quick to respond. They were very knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely call again if the need arises.

I called based on the 5 star rating, they came out the next day to estimate the problem(s) that's when I met Tim and Noah. Noah went around and listened to all my many concerns and told me how they would remedy each situation while Tim made a the list and tallied up my total. I'm not going to lie,( it wasn't my cheapest price) however they were very professional and I felt comfortable having them in my home. Little did I know it was a God send, these guys went above and beyond, New 50 gal hot water tank, new diverter in the shower, re-plumbed a bunch of cobbled plumbing from the prior owner and installed a new valve and air arrestor in the laundry room. NOT A DROP OF WATER OR DIRT LEFT BEHIND! These guys are my new go to plumbers. Thank you guys for a awesome job.

Tim is my new hero in life! Listen, I recently was told that my 23’ of my basem*nt needed to be torn out and several thousands of dollars being spent. I questioned that, and thank goodness i did! Nick is a great technician! He arrived early, was very personable and knowledgeable, and did an awesome job repairing the leaks in my garage and re-plumbing our claw foot bathtub. I also wanted to give a shout out and to thank Tim and Duncan who made an emergency visit on a Saturday to shut off the water to a burst pipe in the ceiling so we could expose the rest of the plumbing for Motor City to return and repair the pipes. My man cave/garage is dry again thanks to Motor City Plumbing & Drain!

I had an older Delta Shower faucet and trim kit that needed full replacement along with the older gate valves for the shower supply shut offs. Noah was out on the first call to provide a quote and job walk through which was done quickly. Nick and Ben returned to complete the install and worked very quickly and cleaned up after themselves very well. Would absolutely recommend Motor City plumbing.

Nick went above and beyond to be transparent and explain the issue and repaired the problem quickly and even cleaned up an area not his responsibility

Scotty B was incredible!! He walked us through all options of what we could do to deal with a clogged main pipe issue. Arrived on time, finished on time, and was at our house 30m after I made the phone call to their headquarters. 5* service through and through, and we will most definitely be using their services in the future!! Tim was so patient, came out to my landbank project multiple times. He knew exactly what work needed to be done to rehab an ancient sewer line that runs way back to the alley. I had three other companies out and can say with certainty that his judgement saved me at least ten thousand dollars. Jake and Josh were great too, perfectionists with the water jetter. Shared all sorts of high definition camera footage of my clean line all the way to the tap. A huge weight has been lifted thanks to these legends. Thank you thank you thank you!

Did the job quickly and professionally, adding steps to prevent future damage, then went above and beyond to give tips on how to prevent future plumbing headaches -- all at a very reasonable price! The initial quote estimate Esteban came out on time and answered all of my questions fully and explained the process in everything.This included a new toilet installation in the basem*nt that needed an area of the basem*nt busted up and the pipes replaced from the old plumbing. Mike was very professional. On top of providing high quality service for our plumbing, he covered his shoes on my carpet, closed my back gate behind him and encouraged me to double check it was closed (we have dogs), kept the doors to outside closed behind him to keep our cats in, and cleaned up after himself completely. I don't normally write reviews but I have to say this company is awesome!!! I was screwed over by another plumbing company and was left with no hot water. I was calling around trying to find another company for the next day to get it fixed and found Motor City Plumbing and Drain. They were fantastic! Brandon came out first thing in the morning to install our water tank. It took longer then expected because we had to wait on the city to turn the water off to the house and Brandon waited with us and didn't leave until he got the job done! He really went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate it. I also want to say the receptionists that scheduled the appointment and confirmed the appointment were happy, cheerful on the phone and super knowledgably. Everyone on the team did a fantastic job. We received that old school customer service where you feel taken care of and heard. My husband and I will definitely be using them again and recommend them to everyone we know. Thank you soo much!

Contacted Joe this afternoon (12-5-21) on a Sunday, while the Detroit Lions were beating the Vikings to arrange for my daughter’s toilet to be unclogged. He was able to determine the cause of the problem and fix it within in minutes of arriving. Extremely responsible for after hours service. His magnet is now displayed on the family fridge. Will absolutely use his services in the future.

I called Motor City Plumbing this morning for a problem with my sump pump. They sent out a tech, Brandon, early the same day. Brandon not only took care of the sump, but several other needed repairs. He was courteous, very helpful, took time to explain the repairs and advise me of future maintenance, and left the site of the repairs clean while removing all the old parts. This is the second major work Motor City has performed for me. We are very pleased with their service. We would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to others.

This company is awesome! I needed a toilet installed and they were able to come out within hours. They were prompt and very professional.

After an initial problem, the owner got involved and took action to remedy the situation. My gas line was repaired in a timely fashion, and I am very happy with the service.

Brandon came out today to hydro jet the basem*nt drain and all went smooth. I got in touch with Mike yesterday and he had his crew out the very next morning and they were in and out in under two hours. Excellent service. I will definitely call them again if I have any further issues.

Big thanks to Motor City Plumbing and Drain! I heard an odd noise coming from my sump pump, and left them a message around 9:30 last night. By 7:20am, I was on the phone with Mike, who fit me into their schedule this morning. Brandon came to my house and was able to take care of everything while he was here. Both guys were extremely professional & courteous, and helped put this first time homeowner's mind at ease. 😊

Greg came to my home for a consult on a vibration in my lines. He arrived early and greeted me with a smile. After he looked at and listened to the issue, he gave me suggestions on what I could do to resolve issue. He also gave suggestions of what his company could do and sincerely seemed like he wanted to help. His attitude and customer service were second to none. His desire to help the issue was the number one priority. I will definitely call for future consult/work.

They then found issues inside that a previous company did not take care of and spent 3 days taking care of that for me as well. Motorcity was able to get someone out the same day to diagnose the problem, and had it fixed 2 days later right before the holiday. I had been having issues with my bathroom sink slowly draining for a while now. Rob was very professional and answered all of my questions. He was able to get my sink flowing again. I will definitely call Motor City Plumbing and Drain again for any future plumbing needs.

Rob and Brandon showed up at 9am to replace all of our old cast iron vent stack from the basem*nt up, including basem*nt, upstairs vanity drains, which ran through partition walls, and the upstairs bath tub drain, and tied the upstairs toilet to the new vent stack, all PVC. After removing the upstairs toilet, they saw an issue and worked hard to resolve the problem. They also replaced the feed lines in the wall for the upstairs bathroom sink, and toilet. By 2:30 pm, they had finished, swept up, and were out the door. They were total professionals with reasonable rates. Don't hesitate to call Motor City Plumbing for work in your home. I highly recommend Motor City plumbing!!! We had them do a few things for us- install a new outdoor faucet for the hose, replaced and installed a brand new sump pump with a water back up system, and the biggest headache we asked them to do was clean out our entirely clogged backyard drain. Not only did they clean out the mud and clay filled drain, but they also replaced the basin completely and gave us a new drain cover. AND hauled away the mess they dug out. Every job was done quickly and efficiently. We are so relieved to have all of this work done within a week and can’t say enough good things about this company! They were genuinely nice people to talk to, not to mention very knowledgeable. We have found our go to plumbing company!!! 5 stars!

Called Friday with a plumbing issue and they were able to send Scotty out same day. He was able to address the issue quickly and answered all our questions! Price was more than fair for the work he did and how thorough he was, very happy with the entire experience.

Mike and Tim were both a pleasure to work with. Mike was my initial contact when setting up the appointment and Tim did the repair. I was the waste line from the inside of my basem*nt to the exterior. It was less than 24 hrs between the time Tim quoted the job to them rolling out of my driveway. With the exception of the newly laid cement, you would never know they were here. Tim & his apprentice were exceptional.

My 20-year-old faucet and garbage disposal recently began to misbehave, corrode and leak. Water noticibly leaked under the sink and down to the basem*nt. Prepared, experienced, prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable! In less than 24 hours they diagnosed, got the proper equipment, and repaired our sewer line. My husband and I just moved to SCS in November, and by the end of December the basem*nt backed up 3 times. Motor City came out and found that a huge snake line had broken off in the sewer line from someone else. They tried to get it out with different equipment first, but that line was not coming out easily.. They made some phone calls and were able to come out the very next morning to dig up the yard and repair everything (the old snake line was 100ft long stuck in the main sewer system tangled in tree roots..).Tim and his crew explained everything that was going on and kept us updated the whole time. They’ll be our go to guys if a need arises again.

Thank you! Used the Dynamic Duo of Tim and Duncan for help trouble shooting and fixing why our kitchen faucet had such little water pressure when trying to use the hot water. They took the time to troubleshoot the issue and able to fix the problem without replacing the <1 old faucet. Used them in 2022, used them in 2023 and will call them again when needed.

I was having backup problems with the main line in my basem*nt so I went to find someone to snake the drain. I called numerous plumbers some of which just didn't answer or they never came back to my house. Once I got in touch with Motor City Plumbing & Drain, there was no need to look any further. He made what I expected to be the repair from hell in a matter of minutes in a very tight space and left zero mess when he was done. The price for the repair was beyond reasonable! He allowed me to cut the hole in the wall and saved us a quite a bit of money and then did a fantastic repair to the very old piping. They literally just finished up installing my brand new tankless water heater. Unfortunately I had a friend who knew what he was doing try to save me a few bucks by installing it the first time but he made a mess of the job. Mike came out to make sure there wasn't an emergency and that my family was safe for the time being. A few days later (today) he came back, uninstalled and reinstalled my heater the right way. He even moved it to a better location in my basem*nt! Call them if you need a honest plumber!!

First contact Andrea was incredibly efficient, she knows the phone is the company's bread and butter and you will never be left waiting for a return call. Noah found an obscure, but substantial leak caused from a former defective installation. Noah's broad skills are methodical, so I had him tweak other plumbing issues which he resolved. Tim and duncan did a great job analyzing my faucet issue. These guys came out last year to jet my drain and in addition ran a camera down the drain to make sure everything is still looking good. Great job installing the separate water meter for our sprinklers.

This is not a review about the work(because no work was performed) this is a review in regards to customer experience. Had the team come out and provide an estimate, I had the work scheduled, then the team comes back to start the work, notices that a “special part” needs to be ordered and they will reach out to their contacts and then call me back to reschedule. A week later(today), I call the office and follow up status. Message was passed to the team. I get a call back saying “no one would sell them the part”, which I understand. But what I do not like is “lack of follow up”, this could have been conveyed to me days ago. And I would have reached out to whomever, so If you say your going to follow up..then do so.

They unclogged the stack and replaced the piping under the sink my husband had dismantled to snake.
