Hour 1-
They showed clips of the OVW Double Crossed pay-per-view from last Thursday with Tony Evans winning the OVW Heavyweight Title from Luke Kurtis after interference from the three Mystery Masked Men and EC3 as the guest referee.
Bryan Kennison, Josh Ashcraft, and Linda Kay were the broadcast team. Eric Cornish was the ring announcer.
OVW Tag Team Champions Donovan Cecil and TW3 defeated Big Beef and Dalton McKenzie in a non-title match when TW3 pinned McKenzie after their double team finisher.
Sophia Rose and Lady Bird did a backstage promo. They will have a match against Hollyhood Haley J and Freya The Slayer.
Mick Foley came out to do guest commentary.
Tony Gunn pinned Maximo Suave after the Kill Shot.
Hollyhood Haley J and Freya The Slaya did a backstage promo. They said Rose and Bird are too sweet for their own good because they don’t play.
Star Rider came out to the ring limping on crutches. He was hurt in the match against Will Austin last Thursday. It was a match of the vacant OVW Rush Division Title and Austin won it. Rider said he needs rest by doctor’s orders but nothing is broken or torn. The title was ironically vacated when Jota Peso was injured recently. Austin came out to confront Rider. He said he would love to put the title on the line against him tonight. Rider was ready to go for it but Austin attacked him and put him in a Figure Four Leglock. Jota Peso tried to make the save but Austin put him in a leglock too.
Hollyhood Haley J and Freya The Slaya defeated Sophia Rose and Lady Bird when Haley J pinned Bird after a curb stomp. Rose was kicked down to the floor by Haley J a little before the finish as she saved Bird from a double team finisher attempt.
Kal Herro did a promo backstage talking about facing Carson Drake once again tonight.
OVW Media Champion Kal Herro pinned Carson Drake with an inside cradle in a non-title match. After the match, Herro got on the mic and said he works hard and he was offended that people are saying he only has his spot in OVW because his dad and Al Snow are friends.
June 29 is the next OVW pay-per-view.
Hour 2-
Mick Foley went to the ring to speak to the crowd. He put over Sophia Rose. He said she inspired him because she is a stroke survivor who became a pro wrestler. He said Carson Drake is a jerk who works twice as hard at it to be one. He said he will be back as a guest again in OVW in another two weeks.
Shane Mercer pinned Orion after the Moonsault and Battery.
Super Z pinned “Boy Toy” Troy Austin after the Superhero Flying Crossbody off the top rope. Super Z continues his undefeated streak in OVW.
The Bad Girls Club came out to the ring. Tiffany Nieves and Dream Girl Ellie won the 4-Corners Tag Team Elimination Match over… Freya the Slaya and Hollyhood Haley J … OVW Women’s Champion Leila Grey and Gema … Lady Bird and Sophia Rose… last Thursday at OVW Double Crossed. Grey and Nieves bragged that they fooled everyone (by having Grey purposely let Nieves get the pin on her to win the match). They said they even fooled Al Snow. They said they did it to keep The Bad Girls Club on top in the women’s division. Snow came out to have a talk with them. He sarcastically tried to chuckle off what they were saying. He said on June 29, Grey needs to defend the title. He said Nieves got the pin on her in the match so Nieves is now allowed to challenge her for the title. The Bad Girls Club had stunned looks on all of their faces just as they started getting back on the same page and tensions had stopped among the members. Snow said they can let him know next week if Nieves accepts the title match for June 29.
Lucious Lawrence and Omar Amir came out in crutches and bandages. They were accompanied by their new attorney PJ Jones and Crystal White dressed up as a nurse. They said they might sue because of Shera going after them in the OVW Tag Team Titles Match last Thursday. They said Snow has made OVW an unsafe working environment and they want him to compensate them. Snow didn’t seem concerned and didn’t plan on giving them anything at their request.
After some video packages, Snow was shown backstage talking to “investigative reporter” ZDP. He asked ZDP to be subtle and find out if Lawrence and Omir are really hurt.
July 11 is OVW episode #1,300.
Luke Kurtis, Jack Vaughn, and the returning Crixus defeated EC3, Tony Evans, and Jay DeNiro (with Shannon The Dude) when Kurtis pinned Evans after the Certifier. EC3 threw Evans into the move to use him as a shield so he didn’t get hit by it too.
